Resources for current and aspiring Umpires
ABOUT THIS SPACE
This is the central resource space for current and aspiring umpires in New Zealand. Here you will find a number of interactive resources and reference documents to use and enjoy. This space is proudly brought to you by the Bowls New Zealand Umpires Committee (BNZUC).

Quizzes
The sport demands excellence from its officials and we're always on the lookout for people keen to learn the Laws. We have developed a few general knowledge quizzes to help you on your journey of learning the Laws and being able to respond to different situations that arise in a game. These quizzes are self-marking, have no time constraints and can be taken over and over again to help you gain the knowledge required to talk about the Laws with confidence.
BECOME AN UMPIRE
Being an Umpire is highly rewarding and challenging at the same time. We offer courses which will get you started on your umpiring journey through to supporting you to become an umpire on the international stage. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
