The Committee and Members of the Foxton & Beach Bowling Club would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and sincerely thank the following clubs for the support and comradeship in our time of devastation, when our clubhouse was destroyed and our green was damaged:  Bowls Palmerston North, Naenae Club and Taita RSA, North End Bowling Club Palmerston North, Levin Bowling Club, Waiterere Beach Bowling Club and Himatangi Beach Bowling Club.

The support these clubs showed us with inviting our members to use their greens and clubrooms for our club championships, winter programme and social rollups was absolutely wonderful and it showed us how amazing our bowling fraternity really is, and one to be treasured.

We would also like to acknowledge the rest of the clubs throughout New Zealand and of course Bowls NZ for the donations that were truly appreciated and also the members that donated through our GiveaLittle Page.  Words cannot express how grateful we are.

We hope to have Stage 1, which is the relocated Hall from Hastings in Hawkes Bay, operational within the first few weeks in October, all going to plan.

The new carpet is on the ocean somewhere and hopefully landed in New Zealand by early to mid-September and then it will be laid soon after that.  So if all goes accordingly, we will be operational for the start of the bowling season 2022/2023.
