Check Your Bowls is a new nationwide campaign from Bowls New Zealand focused on raising awareness around the early detection of breast, prostate, and testicular cancer.​

In partnership with the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ, we're calling on our bowls community—and all Kiwis—to prioritise their health.​

Bowls Is a Community​

Bowls is more than a game. It’s about people, connection, and looking out for one another. With thousands of players across Aotearoa, our clubs are at the heart of communities—and that makes them the perfect place to start important conversations.​

Cancer has touched many lives in our bowling family. Early detection can make all the difference, and that’s what Check Your Bowls is all about.​

What’s Happening​

Throughout the year, we’ll be rolling out a range of events and initiatives to raise awareness and encourage action:​

• Pink and Blue Days at clubs to spark conversation and show support​
• Educational resources on how to self-check and what symptoms to watch for​
• Check your Bowls Merchandise​
