The Hauraki Bowling Club was originally founded as a gathering place for the Mangatarata community, almost incidentally offering lawns bowls as a leisurely respite from the physically demanding work of farming. Established over 75 years ago. A game for all ages, this sport offers the opportunity to meet people.
