Welcome to the 2nd annual:

PARA & BLIND BOWLS TOURNAMENT

being hosted by Barrington United Bowling Club, here in the lovely Garden City of Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our inaugural tournament on Sunday 2nd March 2025, as a one-day drawn pairs event, exceeded expectations with over 26 expressions of interest. We proudly hosted 18 graded Para & Blind Bowlers (now triples format) from Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, Auckland & Wellington.

Join us for the next event, a 2 Day Tournament on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March 2026!

Details are as follows:

• Entry fee: $30.00 per person for both days.
• Saturday, 14th March: Start at 12.00pm with 3 games of 8 ends (includes afternoon tea). Stay afterwards for chats and optional dinner (extra cost, menu TBC).
• Sunday, 15th March: Start at 8.00am with breakfast options (cooked breakfast at extra cost or a lite snack of toast & jam). At 9.00am. play 3 games of 8 ends (includes morning tea), followed by prize giving.

We’ll also be attending the Para Nationals in Tauranga from Sunday, 9th to Thursday, 13th November, where representatives will speak to participants and answer any questions about the tournament. Alternatively, contact us via email on our website:

We’re working on securing accommodation subsidies for attendees traveling over 80km to help reduce costs.
