Bowls New Zealand is seeking applications from suitable candidates to fill three Selector roles for the next two years. These three roles will oversee the men, women and para members with a regional focus.

Selectors will form a key part of the Bowls New Zealand High Performance Team. Selectors will have the ability to identify talent that have the ability to become ‘World Class’. Selectors will work closely with the Convenor of Selectors/Bowls New Zealand Head Coach to drive the delivery of the World Class Plan, so that our athletes (Blackjacks and Wider Squad members) perform at Pinnacle Events.

Objective: To select athletes, disciplines and teams that will perform to the best of their ability, represent New Zealand with pride, and have the ability to achieve Bowls New Zealand’s High-Performance goals at Pinnacle Events.

Selectors will be responsible in collaboration with the Head Coach in selecting the following:

• Blackjacks for International Events
• Development Team
• Oceania Under 26 Team
• Wider Training Squad

Selectors will be provided a small honorarium, and will have expenses and clothing provided for this role.
