Bowls New Zealand would like to extend a warm welcome to Julie Blake, who has been appointed as the 2022 Commonwealth Games Team Manager.

Julie is already known within bowling circles as the Centre Manager for Bowls Waikato, and will continue in this role alongside her Commonwealth Games appointment.

Julie will work closely alongside our high performance team as we work towards a successful Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

She brings a huge amount of experience with her from previous roles to this new one, and that combined with her great people skills will give us and our athletes the best possible chance of staging a successful Commonwealth Games campaign.
