The Stokes Valley Vipers team has won the 2020 Bowls3Five title in a scintillating final against the Elmwood Park Saints.

In an incredible final the Vipers team of Seamus Curtin, Finbar McGuigan and Nicole Toomey toppled the Elmwood Park Saints team of Gary Lawson, Mandy Boyd and Nathan Glasson in straight sets.

The Saints fought hard and were desperately unlucky not to force Seamus to play his last bowl to stop a tie break.

This marks the second straight year that the Saints have lost the final, and they're sure to be marching back next year for another crack at the title.

The night belonged to the Vipers and their supporters though, with a spirited rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' near the end of set one highlighting their enthusiastic support.

The Bowls3Five trophy will now travel down with the team, and look great in the Stokes Valley trophy cabinet for the next year, until the battle begins anew for the 2021 edition.
