NZ COVID Tracer QR Code

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

From 11.59am on Wednesday 19 August the Ministry of Health requires that all places of business, including sporting organisations, display the official NZ COVID Tracer QR Code in a prominent position within their premises. We would suggest that this be at the entrance(s) to the club and clubrooms, including on / at external gates where access is possible and / or likely separately from the clubhouse. Posters being created for outdoor use should be made weatherproof through lamination or by insertion into a transparent sleeve or bag that can be subsequently sealed.

Clubs are therefore required, if they have not already done so, to visit the Ministry of Health website to establish and download / print their unique poster for this purpose.

The web link for the appropriate page is https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-novel-coronavirus-resources-and-tools/nz-covid-tracer-app/nz-covid-tracer-qr-codes where all details are available and a guide to the simple process of establishing your code / poster is provided.

Once this process is complete you will be sent an email with a two page attachment that will look like the images below:

Should you encounter any problem in establishing your club’s New Zealand COVID Tracer QR Code please let us know and we will be happy to assist you to complete the process.

Further to the advice above, we have been alerted to the need to enter a Business Industry Code (BIC) when applying for your unique QR Code.

The following explanation from Government’s Business Classification website suggests the answer to this question for most clubs will be R911258
