Thursday Night

The final night of week five saw the Parajacks take on a double header, both fixtures going the full distance with tie-break finishes. The first match-up opposite the Pt Chevalier Pirates saw the Parajacks go down in the tie-break (3-5, 4-2, 0-2), though the Parajacks rallied strong in the second game to take a much needed win off the Stokes Valley Vipers, 7-2, 3-6, 3-0.

The third and final match-up of the night saw a game of two halves play out, with the Pt Chevalier Pirates taking the first set with a 9-1 thumping opposite the Gore Rams, before the Rams returned the favour in the second set, 11-2 to set up a winner takes all end.

A bowl for bowl end finally saw the Rams get over the line, taking the three points and continuing to pull away from the bottom of the competition table.
