Welcome bowlers!

Summerset Nationals is the pinnacle event for the bowls season. This year the nationals event has been split into two events with the fours event taking place from the 1st-5th of March in Wellington and Singles and pairs from the 2nd-8th of January in Auckland.

This is the fours hub.

Here you will find information relating to the FOURS event. Entry, draws, results and more will all be posted here as information becomes available.


Entry Information

The entry form this year is online and you can enter and pay for multiple entries at once.  You can also purchase the competitors polo for $35.00 (incl. GST).

Entries Close: 20th January 2019.

Entries received after 20th January will be put on a waiting list, YOU MANY NOT PLAY. The only way to be moved from the waiting list into the playing field is if a player or team who are in section play withdraw from the competition.

Navigating The Entry Form
The entry form is responsive and will show you the fields you need to fill in depending on your entry choices, please read the prompts carefully.  At the end of the form you are asked to pay.  If you are paying by credit card you will be redirected through to PayPal (payment fees apply).  If you are paying via bank deposit you need to submit your form, you will then receive an acknowledgement email with the details for processing payment and finalising your entry...

Prize Money

Prize money will be direct credited into a nominated bank account during the week commencing 8th March, 2019. Please ensure that you have details of your bank account available at the event. Prize Money may be subject to schedular payments to the IRD.

The National Open Championships is an event at which Sports Betting may be conducted. Entrants and Tournament Officials are prohibited from placing bets and benefiting from bets placed by others. Disciplinary action in terms of Bowls NZ Constitution will be taken against Players and Officials who contravene this law. Please remember to refer to the Bowls NZ website www.bowlsnewzealand.co.nz for any updates, results and news stories before, during and after the event.
